We need to remember that we are in His hands at all times, because it’s only through His grace and mercy that we can be saved from sin and evil and enjoy eternal life! Bible Study Tools NIV version as:
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. 5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. 6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. 7 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. 8 Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
This Psalm does not offer an optimistic view of life. Even if the earth is thrown off balance, or even when nations are at war with one another, God’s hand is always on top.
The message of this Psalm tells us that God always has our back no matter what happens. He never leaves us, and He’s always on our side. This gives us; the people of God who have accepted the forgiveness of Jesus Christ at the cross and made Him the God of their lives, a hope for the future.

Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God” is an important message from Psalm 46 verse 10. This verse encourages us to take a step back from the world and realize that God is in control of every single detail. We live in a chaotic world filled with distress and trouble at every turn, where uncertainty is the order of the day. We are bombarded with a constant stream of doom and gloom. Divorces, job losses, failed careers, failing relationships - all these challenging things happen in our lives.
But here is the good news: There is always hope under the wise and all-reaching hand of God. This particular verse is urging us to take a step back from the world and realize that everything is not as bad as it seems, because God is still in control.
